Network Mapper, a free security auditing tool, has compiled an image of the favicons for the most visited sites on the web. Each favicon is sized proportionally “to the sum of the reach of all sites using that icon.” Since Google is the #1 most visited site on the web, it has the largest favicon in the compilation. Facebook has the 2^nd largest favicon because it is the 2^nd most visited site on the web etc.
