How about some Miscellaneous Friday content on a Wednesday? As the marketing manager for A2 Hosting, I like to encourage everyone to come up with an original idea for a website and run with it. When I come across a site that I feel is very original, I like to share it. I feel it helps everyone get their creative juices flowing.
This is where GradeFund comes into play. If you’re a student and concerned about how you will fund your college education, I strongly suggest that you check this site out. With GradeFund, students invite their friends, family, neighbors and anyone else they might know to help pay a portion of their tuition. Sponsors specify a dollar amount that they would like to pay for grades each semester.
So for example, a sponsor can choose to pay $6 for an A, $5 for a B etc. Each semester the student uploads their transcript. GradeFund then verifies the grades, collects the money from the sponsors and finally sends it to the school.
The genius behind GradeFund is that the sponsors pay for performance. The students only earn if they attain good grades. And since GradeFund sends the money directly to the college and not the student, the sponsors know their money is actually going towards tuition.
I just really wish this site was around when I was in college!
