I came across a blog entitled “Getting the Most Out of Web Hosting Tech Support”. This article includes a top 10 list with tips like not using your caps lock to appear angry, don’t be ashamed to be wrong and realize that the tech support person that you are speaking with is a person as well. I particularly like number 5 on this top 10 list. Scroll down a bit on that article and you’ll see Number 5 is “Frustrated with tech support? Get a vps.” The author mentions that if you want to bypass tech support and just “get things done”, go for a virtual private server. The best part of all is the recommendation for a VPS host. I think you can guess which host they suggested.
