What Is VDS Web Hosting?

A VDS hosting environment is created by taking a full server and dividing it into multiple, smaller segments called virtual dedicated servers. Each virtual dedicated server (VDS) segment behaves much like a dedicated server. VDS is another name for a virtual private server (VPS).

A customer who purchases VDS Hosting is essentially receiving a personal, mini server that behaves independently from the other VDSes found on that server. Customers are fully secluded from other users on the server. The actions by others on the server cannot slow or impact your hosting service.
