VPS Setup Assistance
VPS Setup assistance only applies to our default template using Kloxo as well as our cPanel offering.
The setup assistance process takes 2-3 business days once the completed setup questionnaire has been received by our technicians.
VPS Setup assistance includes the following:
- Initial Configuration (resolvers, nameservers, DNS Setup, basic WHM/Kloxo configuration)
- Help getting your domain to resolve properly to the new server
- Setting up FTP accounts so you can upload data
- Data migration ONLY if you are moving from a cPanel server to a cPanel VPS
VPS Setup assistance does not include the following:
- Custom software configurations
- Source compiled application installation
- Any work that requires manipulating code (HTML, PHP, CSS, etc.)
- A VPS that is not using cPanel or Kloxo as the primary template
- Restoring/transferring databases by hand
- Any cPanel/WHM software "tweaking" not included in the pre-configured template
This setup fee is equivalent to one (1) hour of discounted support specifically for your VPS. Any requests outside of the items listed above will be considered on a case-by-case basis. If anything is not covered in the setup fee you will be given the option to pay the normal hourly rate of $85/hour for additional work. Additional work will be completed pending the availability of a system administrator and payment received.
