How to manage Developer Access on the Customer Portal
This article describes how to manage Developer Access for your A2 Hosting account using the Customer Portal.
You can select a developer who has direct access to your account. Developers with direct access to an account can do all of the same functions as the owner of the account.
Be careful who you allow to access your account. Full access includes access to billing information, as well as all services and hosting accounts.
Adding Developer Access to your account
To add Developer Access for your account, follow these steps:
- Log in to the Customer Portal.

- On the menu bar, click Account, and then click :

On the Developer Access page, click Grant Access:

In the Add Access dialog box, type the e-mail address of the developer for which you want to add access.
The developer must have an A2 Hosting account, and the specified e-mail address must be the e-mail address used for the developer's A2 Hosting account.
Click Add. The developer now has full access to your account.
Full access includes access to billing information, as well as all services and hosting accounts.
Changing Developer Access for your account
To change Developer Access for your account, follow these steps:
- Log in to the Customer Portal.

- On the menu bar, click Account, and then click :

On the Developer Access page, click Edit Access:

In the Edit Access dialog box, change the e-mail address of the developer for which you want to add access.
The developer must have an A2 Hosting account, and the specified e-mail address must be the e-mail address used for the developer's A2 Hosting account.
Click Edit. The new developer now has full access to the account.
Full access includes access to billing information, as well as all services and hosting accounts.
Removing Developer Access from your account
To remove Developer Access from your account, follow these steps:
- Log in to the Customer Portal.

- On the menu bar, click Account, and then click :

On the Developer Access page, click Revoke Access:

- In the Revoke Access dialog box, click Revoke. The developer no longer has access to the account.
Accessing client accounts with Developer Access
To access client accounts using Developer Access, follow these steps:
- Log in to the Customer Portal.

- On the menu bar, click Account, and then click :

- On the Developer Access page, under Client Accounts, locate the account you want to access, and then in the Actions column, click the Login to this Account (
) icon.
