How to view and change the Security PIN

This article describes how to view and change the Security PIN for your account. The Security PIN is a six-digit code that A2 Hosting uses to help verify account ownership.

  • A2 Hosting may use the Security PIN in phone calls, online chats, tickets, or any time we need to confirm your identity.
  • A Security PIN is valid for 48 hours (2 days). If you have not generated a Security PIN within the last 48 hours, you must generate a new one.

Viewing or changing the Security PIN

To view or change the Security PIN for an account, follow these steps:

  1. Log in to the Customer Portal.
    If you do not know how to log in to the Customer Portal, please see this article.
  2. To view the current Security PIN, look in the Security Pin sidebar. To generate a new Security PIN, click Generate New Pin:
