How to manage subscriptions in Plesk

This article describes how to create, modify, and remove subscriptions in Plesk. Subscriptions enable you to manage your customer accounts and associate them with service plans.

Creating a subscription

To create a subscription in Plesk, follow these steps:

  1. Log in to Plesk as the reseller.
    If you do not know how to log in to your Plesk account, please see this article.
  2. In the left sidebar, under Hosting Services, click Subscriptions:

  3. Click Add Subscription.
  4. In the Domain name text box, type the domain name that you want to host on the new subscription.
  5. In the IP address list box, select the IP address on which you want the subscription hosted, or keep the default value.
  6. In the Username text box, type the username that you want to use to access the subscription.
  7. In the Password and Repeat password text boxes, type the password that you want to use to access the subscription, or click Generate to automatically create a secure password.
  8. In the Service plan list box, select the service plan that you want to assign to the subscription, or keep the default value.

    If you are using a service plan, leave the Proceed to customizing the subscription parameters after it is created. Note that this will make the subscription locked for syncing check box cleared to keep subscriptions synchronized with the service plan.
  9. Click OK. Plesk creates the subscription.

Editing a subscription

To edit a subscription in Plesk, follow these steps:

  1. Log in to Plesk as the reseller.
    If you do not know how to log in to your Plesk account, please see this article.
  2. In the left sidebar, under Hosting Services, click Subscriptions:

  3. Select the check box next to the subscription you want to edit. The selected row changes color. You may do the following actions with a selected subscription:

    • To change the service plan of the selected subscription, click Change Plan.
    • To change the subscriber assigned to the selected subscription, click Change Subscriber.
    • To suspend or unsuspend the selected subscription, in the Change Status list box, select Suspend or Activate.

Removing a subscription

To remove a subscription in Plesk, follow these steps:

  1. Log in to Plesk as the reseller.
    If you do not know how to log in to your Plesk account, please see this article.
  2. In the left sidebar, under Hosting Services, click Subscriptions:

  3. Select the check box next to the subscription you want to remove. The selected row changes color.
  4. Click Remove. Plesk removes the subscription.
