How to renew a domain purchased from A2 Hosting

This article describes how to use the Customer Portal to renew domains you have purchased from A2 Hosting.

Renewing a domain

To renew a domain that you previously purchased from A2 Hosting, follow these steps:

  1. Log in to the Customer Portal.
    If you do not know how to log in to the Customer Portal, please see this article.
  2. On the menu bar, click Domains, and then click RENEW DOMAINS:

  3. In the domain list, select the check box for the domain that you want to renew:

  4. Select the renewal length period in the list box.
  5. Click Order Now to complete the renewal process.

Configuring automatic renewal for a domain

For greater convenience, you can configure your domains for automatic renewal. When automatic renewal is enabled, A2 Hosting automatically sends you a renewal invoice ten days before the domain expires. This provides you with enough time to complete the renewal process before domain expiration.

To configure automatic renewal for a domain, follow these steps:

  1. Log in to the Customer Portal.
    If you do not know how to log in to the Customer Portal, please see this article.
  2. On the menu bar, click Domains, and then click MY DOMAINS:

  3. Locate the domain you want to configure, click the down arrow icon, and then click Auto Renewal Status:

  4. The renewal status for the domain appears:

    • To enable automatic renewal, click Enable Auto Renew.
    • To disable automatic renewal, click Disable Auto Renew.
