How to install a GlobalSign OneClick SSL certificate

This article describes how to order and install a GlobalSign OneClick SSL certificate on your A2 Hosting account. After installation is complete, users can visit your web site securely by using the https:// prefix in their web browsers.

There are currently two types of GlobalSign OneClick SSL certificates:

  • GlobalSign OneClick Alpha SSL
  • GlobalSign OneClick Domain Verified SSL
  • GlobalSign OneClick SSL certificates are only available for cPanel accounts. If your account does not include cPanel access, then you cannot install a GlobalSign OneClick SSL certificate.
  • GlobalSign OneClick SSL certificates require a dedicated IP address. If your account does not have a dedicated IP address, you must order one first before installing a GlobalSign OneClick SSL certificate. For information about how to order a dedicated IP address, please see this article. After you place the order, we will send you an e-mail message that contains the new IP address.
