How to recover access to your Barracuda Spam Firewall account

This article describes how to recover access to your Barracuda Spam Firewall account. Normally, you receive periodic quarantine reports from Barracuda Spam Firewall in your inbox. These quarantine reports contain hyperlinks that enable you to directly access your Barracuda account.

If you delete all of the quarantine reports in your inbox, you no longer have the hyperlinks that enable Barracuda account access. However, you can recover access to your account.

Recovering access to your Barracuda account

To recover access to your Barracuda Spam Firewall account, follow these steps:

  1. Use your web browser to go to https://barracuda.supercp.com/cgi-mod/index.cgi.
  2. In the Username text box, type your e-mail address.
  3. Click Create New Password.
  4. You receive an e-mail message at the address you specified in step 2 that contains the following text:
    Welcome to the Spam Firewall. This message contains the information 
    you will need to access your Spam Quarantine and Preferences.
    
    Your account has been set to the following username:
       Username: user@example.com
    
    Access your Spam Quarantine directly using the following link: https://barracuda.supercp.com/cgi-mod/index.cgi?[URL shortened]
    
  5. Click the URL provided in the message to access your Barracuda account.
