How to filter product by price in OpenCart

OpenCart does not provide an easy way to filter products based on price. A good price filter can help customers find what they're looking for and increase potential sales. This article describes how to use the Ajax Filter module to filter products in OpenCart by price.

Filtering products by price in OpenCart store

To filter product listing by price, follow these steps:

1. Go to OpenCart Marketplace, select modules and search for Ajax Filter under the free modules. Download the module from to your local drive:

   

   

2. Log into OpenCart as an administrator.

3. On the Dashboard in the left sidebar, click Extension, and then click Installer:
   

   

4. Select and upload the Ajax Filter from step 1, and wait for the process to finish:
   

   

5. Click Extensions menu and select Modules from the extension type filter:
   

   

6. Install the Ajax Filter module from the module list:
   

   

7. The product price filter will be displayed on your OpenCart store:
